Sandra Scheuber has had a lifelong passion with modern dance.  She is a freelance choreographer, and has set works on dance companies as well as colleges, and high schools in the bay area, central valley, and beyond. Her work has been selected for various showcases including Joe Goode Virtual Open House, sjDANCEco ChoreoProjects and Annual Dance Festival, SpectorDance Virtual Choreographers Showcases, LA Dance Festival, DVDance’s Collective Artists, Nhan Ho Project’s Images of Dance, and more. Sandra has studied and performed in the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles, the Central Coast, and the Central Valley.  She was invited to dance in Jose Limon’s “The Winged” and “Missa Brevis” with sjDANCEco in San Jose. She performed with and choreographed for NewGround Theatre Dance Company, Off-Balance Dance Company, One Performing Arts, Contemporary Dance Collective, and Central Coast Contemporary Dance.  She has presented work under her own company Leaps and Bounds Dance Ensemble.  She has an MFA in Choreography from Mills College, has served as Secretary and Membership Chair of the California Dance Education Association, and as a choreographic mentor for the Dance Repertory Vision Series.  She is a board member of the American College Dance Association and regular attendee of the American Dance Festival Dance Professionals Workshop.  She also has a degree in Industrial Engineering and recently retired from a long career as a Business Systems Analyst.
